It's BEYOND time for me to pick my current favorites, I know. So here they are, in no particular order - you'll be seeing a few of them in the G-Free Foodie Box soon!
Rouge Creamery Caveman Blue - a creamy, delicious, earthy exterior-mold blue cheese that's completely Gluten Free. love love love.
Lesley Stowe Oat Rosemary Raisin Crisps - these crisps are made with oat flour certified Gluten Free by GIG, and they are totally delish. the crisps are also attractive - I actually purchased them for a food styling project, and then crunched through the rest of the box. grab some for holiday cheese displays.
Fra'mani Mattinata Breakfast Sausage - incredibly delicious sausage made from coarse ground natural pork, sage and a smattering of other seasonings, fresh-packed and fully cooked so I can serve it up to my kiddo & myself with my first cup of coffee? yes, please. love this stuff.
Keep It Real Food Co. Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies - I popped one of these cookies in my mouth after a long day running a trade show and thought: wow! I must be hungry. these low-glycemic, grain free cookies are good. they were just as good the next day, and the next. then they were gone, and I want more. you will too.
Glutino Chocolate Vanilla Creme Cookies - remember all those times that I said there was no reasonably decent version of GF oreos? I was wrong. these are good. way good.
Sosu Srirachup - ketchup and sriracha joined together by master saucemakers who cook down organic California Early Girl tomatoes and blend them with spices, sea salt and brown sugar. do you think they'll sell it to me in a 5-gallon drum?
Kyra's Bake Shop Ding Dong Cupcakes - chocolate cake filled with vanilla buttercream, dipped in a dark chocolate shell from the 3X Cupcakes Wars winning Gluten Free bakery. hostess ain't got nothin' on Kyra.
INNA jam Seascape Strawberry Jam - delicate dark-red organic seascape strawberries retain their complex and floral flavor in this incredibly perfect jam. try their polka raspberry shrub too, and thank me later.
French Picnic Gluten Free Pastry Circles - literally the most amazing Gluten Free pastry I've tried. after I tasted it, I had to go back to the box and re-read it to make sure it was GF. ridiculously flaky, perfectly buttery.
Books, Books, Books - three of my favorite people have written three of my new favorite books! I cracked up reading Celiac and the Beast by Erica Dermer & Gluten is my Bitch by April Peveteaux, and I love the recipes in Sweet Cravings by Kyra Bussanich. Pick up a copy of each!
