I met the Gorton’s team at BlogHer last year. They were cool people – because you know how much I love easy-to-make gluten-free frozen food. I also like dressing up like a fisherman.

They kindly gave me some free product to try out, and they want to share the love with you! You can learn all about their gluten-free products (certified!!!) on their gluten-free page here.

I had a chance to sample their Signature Grilled Tilapia, Classic Grilled Salmon, Garlic Butter and Lemon Pepper Filets (from wild-caught Alaska Pollock). I ate these all the time before I went gluten-free and they were still part of my frozen arsenal until my body decided to revolt against dairy. Unfortunately their seasoned fish comes with a milk allergen warning. While I was able to eat enough to sample, I can no longer eat these on a regular basis. However, I love the fact that having frozen fish entrees is made easy with Gorton’s. My favorites were definitely the Signature Grilled Tilapia and the Garlic Butter and Lemon Butter Fillets. I tend to not like any of the white fish that I make myself and they’ve done a great job on those seasonings. However, I do feel like I can season my own/cook my own salmon that I prefer over Gorton’s version. But, in order to get seafood quick – Gorton’s provides a good option for people on-the-go or as a quick meal without having to run to the store to get fresh fish. You can even make these in the microwave (even though I prefer to make them in the oven).
