We've been in foodie-love with Bari Olive Oil Co. for awhile now - when they told us they'd created new products, we had to taste them!

    About Bari Olive Oil:

The Sawatzky family's Bari Olive Oil is made in small quantities from late season Mission & Manzanilla olives grown in Central California. We love their commitment to quality, customer service and family. All Bari Olive Oil is first-press, cold-press extra virgin olive oil - although the rules in California state that any flavored oil cannot be lebeld "extra virign olive oil" so the infused oils don't have EVOO or the COOC seal on the label.

Bari's expanded line of flavor infused olive oils:

Bari expanded their line of Flavor Infused Oils, and all of their flavors are Gluten Free. We were already fans of the Basil & Orange oils - but now we're evenly divided over the Chipotle & Jalapeno flavors.  (Team Chipotle is pretty sure they'd win in a kitchen-throwdown, just FYI.)

KC used Bari's unique Tandoori infused olive oil in another attempt to recreate the Tomato-Chicken-Curry from her favorite childhood restaurant, and although she's not happy yet, the rest of us ate it up. (If she ever gets happy with that recipe, we'll share it. In fact, we'll probably have a Tomato-Chicken-Curry party in the middle of Times Square to mark the occasion.) We liked the fun Indian-inspired spice blend, and we think it would be perfect for sautéing or grilling vegetables.

    Try Bari's flavor-infused vinegars too:

We're all fans of Bari's Fig Balsamic Vinegar, but we're ready to order a truckload of their Blackberry Vanilla Balsamic. We'd tell you to order some now, but we want to make sure we get ours first - so give us a minute. It's our new secret weapon for chicken, vinaigrette & strawberries. Get some Blackberry Vanilla Balsamic, and then you can thank us (we're thinking caramelized onions or balsamic jam, let us know if you need our shipping address.)

What to make with Bari Olive Oil:

Easy Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Red Peppers and Shallots

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Red Peppers and Shallots:

These Roasted Brussels Sprouts are a perfect match for flavored olive oils or EVOO, and Bari's classic balsamic vinegar or Fig Balsamic would be perfect on them too. They're ridiculously easy and delicious.

Other Central California olive oils we love:
