If you ask me what my favorite dessert is, you may get a different answer depending on the day you ask me. I really don’t have a favorite. There are too many that have my heart! I do however, love frozen desserts. Ice cream, sorbet, frozen yogurt, fruit popsicles. I’m always (always) in the mood for ice cream of any sort. When I went dairy free, one thing I missed the most…frozen yogurt. I can still get sorbet at my local yogurt shop, but it’s just not the same creaminess that I long for.
When I get that craving for a bowl of frozen yogurt, I turn to my Blendtec! It makes amazing frozen treats in minutes. I’m sharing my recipe for instant berry frozen yogurt that just so happens to be dairy free. It’s also my first entry into the Fast and Fresh Dairy Free Time Trials recipe contest, sponsored by So Delicious over at Go Dairy Free. All of the entries are either 5, 15, or 30-minute recipes. You can check out all of the entries on the So Delicious Dairy Free pinterest board. Lots of yummies to try!
