Ingredients
- Four apples, cored and cut in half
- 2 tablespoon Butter or Coconut Oil (omit if desired)
- ¾ cup Cinnamon Infused Simple Syrup
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- ¼ raisins
- ¼ pecan pieces
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F
Arrange apple halves cut side up in a roasting pan. Mix raisins, brown sugar and pecans together, and spoon filling into the center of each apple half. Top center of each apple with a thin slice of the butter, then pour syrup into and around apples. Bake for 40 minutes until soft when pierced with a knife.
Pour the remaining syrupy glaze over each apple, add whipped cream if desired and serve warm.
