FOR THE TOPPING
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar Packed
- 1 Cup All Purpose Gluten-free Flour
- ½ Cup Butter Or Earth Balance
- 1 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Cup Gluten free Oats Quick Cooking/Rolled Oats
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Using a medium sized bowl peel and slice apples.
Add gluten free flour, sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Combine until all the apples are evenly coated. set aside.
In another medium sized bowl, add brown sugar, gluten free flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and butter.
Using a pastry cutter or two knives combine mixture until it resembles small pebbles.
Add rolled oats and combine with a spoon.
In an ungreased 9×13 pan place apple mixture in pan.
Place crumb mixture on top of sliced apples.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until fork tender.
