In the name of disclosure - I am a huge fan of Williams-Sonoma.  In fact, I worked there for several holiday seasons during + after college, so I was a 22 year old with an amazing collection of All-Clad and other kitchen tools.  I've been the assistant in some of their Holiday Cooking classes (assistant means you set things up & wash the dishes) and I have served roughly 80-gagillion samples of apple cider & peppermint bark - and I still love this store.

So when I went Gluten Free, I was sad that WS didn't have much in the way of food stuffs for me - I always went there when I was in need of something extraordinary.  Sure - I could still get the best cooks tools, linens, & syrups/jams/jellies - but I wanted more.  I wanted demi-glace.

It is with great delight that I tell you that Williams-Sonoma now has a Gluten Free list tucked into the handbook of each store, and has spent some time looking for premium Gluten Free items to stock the shelves - I most recently scored 3 types of Gluten Free Flour (including Purple Corn!) and a number of other tasty treats.

You know where I'll be doing my holiday shopping -

What great news - can't wait until I get to the big city and can visit a WS store in person. Thanks to this post, I just spent an hour dreaming away on the WS website. I was hoping they had posted some of their GF items, but had fun window shopping and pulled a few recipes as well.

      Thanks for the inspiration.

I am a long time employee of WS, I've taught the cooking classes for several years, and this is the first time I'm hearing, happily, that there is a GF list at the store. We are now selling several GF items, including C4C flour, and AWESOME brownies from AdHoc. I can't seem to find out if our peppermint bark is gluten free, and I'm thinking that may be why I've had such itchy eyes all week. 🙁

Will look for a GF list when I work tonight.
