I am so sorry for being so behind.  It has been a crazy few weeks and honestly, I was feeling a little guilty and I didn't know what to write.

I will start with Ryan, he has transitioned completely back to solid food and is losing.  He does still have juice as a meal replacement at times or if he is feeling sluggish he will have a juice day, but for the most part he is watching portions and trying to eat more whole foods.   He is currently down 44 lbs now which is great.  The juice fast gave him a fantastic jump start to his weight loss and he has no regrets and he is just proud of himself for trying and making it as far as he did.  His goal is to lose about 35-40 more pounds over the next 10 months.

I on the other hand had some struggles.  While my blood tests came back great, my menstruation cycle became off and I was having multiple dizzy spells. So I figured my body was telling me it was time to increase calories and start the process of eating solids. I had the plan from my nutritionist and I was planning on following it, however as soon as I started eating I lost complete control for about a week.  It was an emotional and physical roller coaster. My body completely rejected the food, but I couldn't seem to get back to a reasonable eating plan. I ended up putting on about 8 lbs. Over the last week and a half,  I have been able to regain control. I have been able to work out a plan that I can manage physically as well as emotionally. I eat a big breakfast and then I juice as needed the rest of the day.

I am currently down 24 lbs, so I am still up about 5 lbs. from my low but I am Ok with that.   I feel much better and I think I can maintain this plan for a while. My goal is to lose about 5-8 more pounds and I am hoping to lose it by Easter (which is 38 days away). I think it is definitely a reasonable goal!!

    I will keep you posted!!

45 days down, 38 to go!!
