You've heard us rave about Organic Valley's Soy Creamers, and their Ricotta Cheese made KC's Top Ten list, so you know they've made a couple of things we really, really like. We decided to take a look at their list of Gluten Free products and try a few more to see if they were just gettin' lucky, or if we love all their products just the same.
First, let us say that Organic Valley only makes organic products, which we dig, and they let you find you local farmer, which is one of the coolest things we've ever seen, but that ain't all that matters. For G-Free Foodies, taste rules.
And we found taste! Here are some of the products we love:
Shelf Stable milks: Thank you for Gluten Free, all natural shelf stable milk for the lunchbox set! In strawberry & vanilla (our fave) too - not just chocolate. The milk is made shelf-stable using Ultra-pasteurization and aseptic packaging.
European Style Cultured Butter: Um, yum! Tart, true-butter flavor & high fat content made this our new favorite butter. (Can you have a favorite butter? Yes. We decided you can.)
Vanilla Soy Milk: Just like their soy creamers, this Vanilla Soy Milk has a pure, clean flavor and a creamy-smooth texture.
Cheeses: Big props for the Vermont Extra Sharp Cheddar (they're not playing with the flavor on that one!) and the briny-salty delicious Feta. We're no cheese snobs here, we ate a bunch of Colby-Jack Stringles and we loved those too. We're pretty sure the kids also would have loved them if we'd have saved them any.
